dream and luck

there's just so much i can get from a simple yet deep conversation with my supermom. here i want to share just one of the most inspiring part of it.

they said "you dream it, you fight for it, you get it". very true. in a motivation training, we were encouraged to paint our own dreams, and act as if we will live those dreams. it's very motivating, very true. there are people who live poor as a child, but they have the will to be what they wanted to be. and they struggle their way to the top, and tada! you might find them now in the top positions in multinational companies, having beautiful house and cars, with a perfect family.

that's the theory in motivation trainings.

aside from that, there are these kind of people. the theory is rarely applied, but it exists. these people didn't dream in their childhood. they might not achieve high marks at school, they might not imagine their life to be as grand as it looks now. but apparently, they live that life just now.

they may have the luck. but most importantly, they try their best every now and then. they accept opportunities, they work it out in the best way possible. and you know what, they manage it to the top. yep yep, they manage very well.

see the differences?

i'm here not judging which one is better, because i see those two kinds getting along perfectly well.

jsyk, the first kind was how my father got his life. and obviously, the second one was my mother's.
